Gita Jayanti – On 3rd December 2022

Over 5000 years ago, Lord Sri Krishna spoke the cream of all Vedic Literatures in the form of Srimad Bhagavad-Gita to Arjuna on this auspicious day.

Srila Prabhupada mentions in the Introduction to the Bhagavad-Gita: “Everyone is full of anxiety because of this material existence.  The purpose of Bhagavad-Gita is to deliver mankind from the nescience of material existence.”

In Gita-Mahatmya (Verse 2), Lord Shiva tells Parvati that if one reads Bhagavad-Gita very sincerely and with all seriousness, then by the grace of the Lord the reactions of his past misdeeds will not act upon him.

It is also said in Gita-Mahatmya (Verse 68) that one who Donates in charity One Hundred copies of the Bhagavad-Gita attains the spiritual world, where from there is no rebirth.

This year, we are celebrating Gita Jayanti on Saturday, 3rd December 2022.

Bhagavad-gita copies on this auspicious occasion to obtain spiritual benefits.
